Maun – Situated on the southern edge of Okovango Delta nearly 950km north-west of Gaborone, Maun has an international airport and a number of reasonable hotels. Approximately 12km from the center of Maun is the Crocodile Camp, where five-star luxury accommodation, mobile camping safaris, bird walks and horse rides are available. There is nine-hole golf course at the Okavango River Lodge.

Okovango Delta – Situated in the Kalahari Desert and easily accessible from Maun, Okavango is the largest inland delta in the world. The Delta has its micro-climate with three main seasons: warm to hot and dry from August to November (best time for game viewing). Makgadikgadi – As the last remnants of a lake that was once the largest in Africa, the various salt pans of this area, dotted with islands and ancient baobab trees are a reminder of how transient environments and the life that depends on them can be.
