There is a place for captive wildlife in tourism if done sustainably and ethically. When it comes to ethical tourism, we believe in always having the tourists’, the community’s, and the environment’s wellness at the fore, which makes us a one-of-a-kind “wildlife encounter” to travellers from around the world. Each animal that falls in the hands of our care plays a critical role in our safari family, which makes us a proud ethical tourism lion and safari tour operator.

Wildlife Encounter is a responsible lion and safari tour operator based at the mighty Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe, one of the world’s natural wonders.

We grant our travellers guaranteed up-close sightings of the true magnificence of Africa’s Wildlife. During mass animal depletion, our role in nursing, feeding, and grooming our animals’ places us in a position to confidently spread the word of conservation to all who visit, makes our encounters memorable and educational.

Lions – FEAST OF BEASTS

Two big resident male lions charging for their meal

Stand your ground as you watch our fully grown male lions charge toward you to devour their food and experience the full might of these beasts as they feed! The graceful cutting through the wind to reach the food while roaring sends vibrations through your spine! The echoes of the roars in the tunnel from which you witness such might become a song, and you may be lucky to catch eye contact with the males as they mark their territory!

The uniqueness of our lion encounter is anchored in the proximity in which you take part in the feast! The completely natural essence of the process is, as you would see in the wild. No two days are the same in terms of our lions’ feeding behaviour, giving the activity elements of surprise!
